Consult & meeting 17/04

Today at consults we got some more feedback on how to implement the design proces in our tool.

• Really use the tool for our own design process for this course
• Emphatize > define
• Clearly state the focus and user group, especially because we want to use a design thinking process
• Even then, the process now may be too lineair
• We can make it more flexible by not attaching the phase to the folder
• Make sure to make iterating possible, going back into the phases
• Keep an overview of the process
• 4P's:
• Project
• Proces
• People
• Product

• This can be done in one conclusion folder
• Also usefull for communication
• Let the user label the folders
• Process can be a simplified model, specific for beginner designers

Our user group is new designers who need to learn the design thinking process. So in our case this could be first and second year studens IO.

• Look at the courses of 1st and 2nd year students => how to use the tool then?
• Difference between shape & styling, and technologie projects 

What next?
 Finalize the prototype before testing this friday. Start on CAD modelling. Think through all the material choices. Even when using text or paper: use stickers, printing, make reusable....
